Lucy's First Christmas

Whew...Christmas has come and gone. We had a wonderful holiday, but are glad it is over so life can get back to normal. Lucy was such a good girl all week. Thanks to everyone making her first Christmas so special. Here are some of our favorite photos!

Week before Christmas

We've been busy the past couple of weeks getting ready for Christmas! Lucy has been such a good little shopper with me and mom. We couldn't resist posing her up with her new stocking...it is about as big as she is and as you can see, she likes it! Last night we had a fun time with Carl's family in Lewisville at Aunt Carleen's house where Lucy enjoyed hanging with her family. We are packing up and heading to Athens for the holidays. This time our playgroup went to Nordstrom at the Galleria to see Santa...he was such a good sport!!! Our sweet husbands took a turn at babysitting the kids one night so that Kristin, Kathryn (playgroup moms) and I could go out for sushi.

Lucy Meets Santa

Mom and I took Lucy to meet Santa but he was on a milk and cookie break. By the time he got back, she was asleep! After completing our shopping she woke up in a good mood...we decided to try one more time!!! I'm so glad that we did. Merry Christmas!

Lucy is 4 Months Old!

I can't believe that Lucy is 4 months old already! We went to the doctor last week for her check up and she got another A+. Lucy now weighs 15 lbs 5 oz and is 25.8 inches long! She is growing so fast. Her new favorite thing to do is roll over to her tummy. We can hardly keep her on her back.

Snow Day!!!

When we woke up this morning it was snowing!!! We couldn't wait to bundle Lucy up and take her outside to see her first snow. She loved it! :)

Our fun week!

We had a big week in Athens! Lucy and I went to Athens on Monday so we could be ready for a Sip and See at mom's house on Tuesday. We were blessed with about 40 friends stopping by to see Lucy. She looked like a baby doll, and she was such a good girl! Lucy visited with her guests for about the first 30 minutes, then proceeded to fall asleep for the rest of the party. We went to our family farm for a fun day on Thanksgiving! Carl's parents came in to be with us, which made it extra special. Lucy was once again a trouper. We stayed at the farm all day. She had fun with her cousins! Lucy rolled over for the first time and giggled a lot this past week!!!
