13 Months Old!

Lucy weighs 21 lbs and is growing and learning right before our eyes! She is taking about 8 steps in a row on her own now...almost walking! She is trying to say new words every day. Lucy is a little copy cat and tries to mimic everything I say!
Our CT cousins are in town. They last saw her when she was 3 weeks old. They are having lots of fun getting to know each other! Here are some new pictures I took last week.

Our Trip to Athens

We went to Athens last week while Carl was in New Mexico on a hunting trip. Lucy and I had so much fun spending time with family, playing, visiting with friends and swimming. She learned new words and tricks everyday that we were gone! Her new words are: ball, eye, duck, quack quack, bow, oh boy and bye bye. She is also making funny new sounds and covering her face with her hand to play peek a boo (she learned this from Grammy and thinks it is soooo funny)! Welcome home Daddy!!

Fun Dates

What a fun and busy week we have had! We went on 3 lunch dates and had 2 play dates. Lucy had her 1 year photographs taken on Sunday..AND she has taken several steps on her own! We feel like she will be walking soon. YIKES!

More Celebrating!!!

We started out the week by going to Lucy's 12 month check up. Lucy got 3 shots and another A+ from Dr. Newton! She weighs 19lbs 11oz and is 30.3 inches tall. Friday was our 5th wedding anniversary!!! I am so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. We went to Athens for the weekend and went to dinner with Lucy and my parents to celebrate (the two of us are having a belated anniversary dinner next weekend). While in Athens we had a family birthday party for Lucy. She loved playing with her cousins, Hadley and Ella, and got more wonderful presents! We took Lucy to the Country Club in Athens on Sunday so that she could show her Pam and Grandaddy how much she loves the water!
