14 Months Old

Lucy will be 14 months old this week! She now weighs 22lbs. Her current favorite activities are walking, talking, playing, reading and taking baths (she will even tell us "book" and "bath"). She has also learned to give hugs...which I LOVE!

Last week we went to Athens (while Carl was out of town for work). We spent lots of time with family and friends, and tried to cheer up my dad after double knee replacement surgery!

This weekend we went to Bowen's first birthday party and had a great time! Then, Carl and I went to a wedding Saturday night. Thank you Meme and Pop for coming over to keep Lucy!

Look Who's Walking...and Getting Her First Haircut!!!

Lucy is officially walking now! She can get up and walk wherever she wants...at least when she chooses to anyway. Her fastest mode for getting from point A to point B is still crawling.

Madi's sweet Grandmommy gave Lucy her first haircut. I know, it may seem impossible that she needed a haircut, but her daddy was tired of her "mullet" :). She cut off about an inch and a half. Poor girl...her hair on top is growing very slowly. Thank goodness for bows AND that Lucy doesn't mind wearing them! She was the best girl during her haircut. She sat pretty still while eating snacks for the duration!

Labor Day Weekend Fun!

Carl had Friday and Monday off and we LOVED spending time with him. Our friend Nick from England came for the weekend (he's in the states working for a few months) and we really enjoyed his company! We went to a fun cook out on Monday...thanks for the good time Kathryn, Brad and Madi!
