Mom's Birthday Weekend

Friday afternoon Pia and Grandaddy came to spend the night with us to celebrate Mom's birthday (which was Monday the 7th)!  

That night we went for a yummy birthday dinner at Central 214.  Lucy loved the live music and danced  while we waited for our table.  Lily was a little unsure about the guitar player.

On Saturday morning we went to the Arboretum to the new Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden.  It started raining about 30 minutes after we got there, but we still had a great time!

On Friday right before we picked Lucy up from school Lily chipped her front tooth :(.  Of course the dentist was closed until Monday.  We went after school on Monday and they fixed it...it was very traumatic for her though!  She was really brave before the dentist got her drill out!

October Fun!

We've started off the month with all kinds of fun Fall activities!

Lucy and I went to Bowen's birthday party Saturday at Pump It Up.  Poor Lily had to stay home with Daddy because she had Croup!

Meme and Pop came over after that and spent the rainy afternoon with us.

We had dinner and then I made my Great Grandmother's blackberry cobbler for the first time!
 It was delicious!

On Sunday we played outside and enjoyed the cooler weather!

Lily kept telling us she was taking Minnie to Nordstrom :)
