Lily had a bad allergic reaction to Amoxicillin this past week. She was on medicine for a double ear infection and a sinus infection. Look at her awful rash! We knew it was time to go to the ER when she held her little finger up and tried to bend it and it was puffy and swollen. Overall the rash didn't bother her, she just knew something didn't feel right with her fingers! She had been on Amoxicillin before and not had a problem. The emergency room doctor gave her a big dose of Benadryl and an oral steroid. We had to continue both meds for 5 days. Her rash went away fairly quickly, but she had bruises everywhere the rash was. She is great now and we hope we don't have to make anymore trips to the ER!

I am so glad that we got to spend the day with Mom on her birthday! Carl cooked steaks and we had Cherry Laurel cake to celebrate.
