A Visit to Meme & Pop's and Bowen's Party

We went to Plano last week to spend a few days with Meme and Pop.  I didn't take many pictures but we had a great visit, and all enjoyed being together. Carl and  I spent Friday picking out tile, floors and looking at more lighting.  Lily loves playing chase with Lucy (see below)!

Bowen's birthday party was at The Frontier's of Flight Museum.  The girls had so much fun!  Lisa really outdid herself this year making Bowen's 3rd so special.

Busy, Busy, Busy

The girls had their check ups last week (3 year and 15 months) and both got great reports.  Lucy has grown 3 1/2 inches this year and gained 5 pounds!  Lily is off the charts for height and Dr. Newton says she's the size of a 2 year old.  I love my tall girls!  Lily got 4 shots including a Flu shot and Lucy got the Flu mist.  

Carl and I took Lucy to see her first 3D movie.  Can you tell she was excited?!

Our dear friends from England, Hilary Law and John and Wendy Lawson came to Texas for a visit.

Grammy and Hilary have been pen pals for almost 70 years.  We have loved getting to know their family over the years and feel so lucky each time we get together.

Lucy's First Day of School/Sweet Sisters

We drove Lucy into Dallas for her first day of school. She was so excited!  She loved her teacher, and making new friends in her class.  Our goal is to get her to school one day a week until we move so that she can feel a part of her class.
